75 Deanston Dr, Glasgow G41 3AQ
That shopfront stops you before you even reach the door. Peach and burnt orange, "VERSE" in bold retro lettering, it announces itself on Deanston Drive without apology. Inside, dusty rose plaster walls, curated shelves of specialty bags and caps, and a bake counter that demands attention: tiramisu, oversized cookies, cinnamon rolls piled with cream. It's part café, part independent shop, and entirely its own thing.
The flat white is seriously impressive. A sweet, complex espresso with a touch of sourness that rounds the whole thing off beautifully, paired with silky milk that holds its texture to the very last sip. The balance is clean and confident throughout, and the temperature lands well.
One of the strongest flat whites on the Southside.
