Contra Coffee
503 Victoria Rd, Glasgow G42 8RL
Alpine lodge energy on Victoria Road, which is not something you expect and absolutely works. The espresso is clearly good quality, but it gets lost in the heat: served too hot and in a cup far too large for a flat white. The milk tips slightly too far towards froth and the size makes the whole thing a bit of a slog. The bones are good. If they sorted the temperature and the cup, this would score considerably higher.
