Koo-ee
3 Old Castle Rd, Cathcart, Glasgow G44 4BN
There is genuinely nothing quite like Koo-ee. Part café, part home interiors shop, the space feels cluttered and curated at once. Almost everything you see is for sale, the bespoke wallpaper is striking and vibrant, and the whole thing somehow works completely. Glasgow Café of the Year 2026, and you can see why.
The coffee is solid. Well-rounded espresso, good balance and integration, but the milk needed more frothing and the temperature ran noticeably cool. The cup is charming but a size too large for a flat white. Come for the food, the setting and the story. The coffee is happy to play a supporting role.

“Cozy vibe with great food selection. Nice flavour but could be slightly warmer. The place felt relaxed and there's a shop attached.”
