A proper workers' café: every table has a laptop on it, the French baguettes behind the counter are extremely tempting, and the atmosphere is focused and unhurried. The milk texture is among the finest on the index, heavenly silky with no bubbles and a pour that integrates beautifully. The espresso is well-balanced with natural sweetness and no harshness. Temperature ran a touch cool, but you'll forgive it. A genuinely excellent flat white tucked away in Battlefield.
