Nea's
236 Battlefield Rd, Glasgow G42 9HN
Warm, welcoming and unexpectedly transporting. Step inside and Nea's has the kind of cosy, bustling energy you'd find tucked into a backstreet in southern Italy. Step outside and the Mediterranean-style seating area seals it: one of the more distinctive spots on the index, and ideal for a rare Glasgow sunny day.
The flat white holds its own. Well-rounded espresso, milk that stays silky through to the last sip, and a balance that holds even if the integration isn't quite seamless. The latte art is modest, but when the setting is this good, it barely matters. Friendly staff and a space that earns its place on the Battlefield stretch.
