The flat white punches well above its price: silky smooth milk with minimal bubbles, decent heat, and a well-rounded espresso that could afford to be a touch stronger. The milk edges slightly ahead of the espresso, but at £2 this is comfortably the best price-to-quality ratio on the index. Worth the early alarm.
