Wanamoka feels like a classic neighbourhood café, with quick service, good value and plenty of local character.

The flat white, though, didn't quite come together on this visit. The espresso tasted bitter and burnt, the milk was a little too foamy, and the cup was served much hotter than ideal.

At £2.50, the price is hard to ignore, but the coffee itself left me wanting more. There are stronger flat whites nearby for a little extra.
